Update: Call or chat with a Discover agent and ask if you have any additional cash back offers on your Discover It credit card. You might get one of the offers listed below for additional cash back on all your purchases. You can also ask for 0% APR offers.
Discover is targeting some cardholders with a great offer that gives you an additional 2% or 3% back on all spending for the next 6 months or 12 months. That’s a big deal since it can also be used with bonus categories that already get you 5% back on up to $1,500 quarterly.
Here’s some of the offers that cardholders are seeing:
- Extra 3% cashback on all purchases in next 6 months, up to $2,500 in purchases.
- Extra 2% cashback on all purchases in next 12 months, up to $7,500 in purchases.
- Extra 2% cashback on all purchases in next 6 months, up to $7,500 in purchases.
- Extra 2% cashback on all purchases in next 6 months, up to $1,500 in purchases.
The offers are sent out by email. If you were lucky to get one, you should be good to go. Just read your own terms.
But even if you did not receive an email directly, you can chat with Discover and ask then about the offer. Just ask if there are any offers available in your account for additional cash back. Hopefully they extend you one of the extra earning offers mentioned above.
