Chase United Explorer Card Refresh
The Chase United Explorer Card has a new welcome bonus, higher annual fee and added benefits that launched today. Some of those benefits include $120 in Instacart credit and Instacart+ membership, $60 rideshare credit, $100 in hotel credits and more. Let’s go over the changes and the details of the new offer.
Signup Bonus
- Earn 80,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.
- Earn 5,000 bonus miles after you add an authorized user to your account in the first 3 months your account is open.
- $0 intro annual fee for the first year, then $150 (up from $95)

The new offer is showing up through referral links (change “215f” to “215r” in your referral link URL if it’s still showing the old bonus). Guru’s Wrap-Up
The annual fee is going up from $95 to $150. But if you take advantage of all the new credits then it’s actually not a bad deal compared to the old card.
