Chase Credit Card Bonus Match
Chase has launched new and improved offers on several credit cards this week. That includes a 100K bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card and up to 125K for United credit cards.
But what if you applied for one of these cards before the better offers went live? It’s usually a good idea to always contact the bank (by secure messaging or even calling in) and ask them to match you to the better offer that is currently available. Chase is usually good at matching a better bonus, but in this case we have good and bad news.
Chase Sapphire Preferred 100K Bonus Match
If you recently applied for the lower 60,000 points (or 70,000 in-branch) offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, then there’s good news.
Chase will match you to the higher bonus of 100,000 points. But, that is only for Chase Sapphire Preferred credit cards that have been opened on or after March 13, 2025. If you applied before that date, you are out of luck.
Chase United Cards Bonus Match
Here’s the bad news… Chase is not matching any of the new offers on United credit cards. This goes for all cards, consumer and business. Even if you applied just a day or two before the new bonuses went live, Chase is flat out denying all requests.
Guru’s Wrap-up
If you got a new Chase Sapphire Preferred card on or after March 13, then you can get a bonus match for the new 100K offer. If you applied for United cards recently, before new bonuses went live, then Chase is not matching those offers.
Let me know in the comments if you have asked for a Chase bonus match, and if you were approved or denied!
