It is one of the cards that comes with quarterly 5% categories where you can earn as much as $100 cash back every three months. US Bank Cash+ Review: Guru’s Wrap-up
The U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card is different from several other 5% cash-back cards. It lets you choose the categories where you’ll earn 5% for a specific quarter. But, the eligible categories are not the most popular out there.
The card lets you select two 5% cash-back categories each quarter from a list of 12. That list includes electronics stores, department stores, utilities and much more. Plus, you can choose a 2% cash-back category every quarter from a list of three. You can definitely do much better than that for gas, groceries and restaurants though. You also get 5% back on certain travel bookings through US Bank.
