Wells Fargo and Choice Hotels have launched a new welcome offer for the no-fee Choice Privileges Mastercard with a 60,000 points bonus. While it’s not the highest ever bonus, it’s still a good one. Check out the details below.

About Choice Privileges
Choice Privileges is the rewards program for Choice Hotels. Here are some important things that you need to know about this program, if you are not familiar with it:
- The program has four status tiers. You become a Member once you sign-up for a free membership. And then, there are three Choice Privileges elite status tiers: Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
- You can earn points through hotel stays, credit card spending, purchases with partners, or you can transfer from other programs such as American Express Membership Rewards (1:1), Capital One Miles (1:1), or Citi ThankYou Rewards (1:2). You also get 500 points for referring friends.
- The best use of Choice points is obviously for hotel stays. There’s no set value and no award chart, but you can generally get a value of about 0.7 cents per points and possibly as high as 1 cent. Normally a Choice Privileges reward night will cost between 6,000 – 35,000 points. You need to check each property to see rates.
- Choice Privileges gives you a short window for booking reward nights. You can only book a stay on points 100 days before your planned arrival.
