Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Award Sale

Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic have teamed up to offer a 20% discount in the points price when members buy a Virgin Atlantic reward seat. This promotion applies to bookings between January 19-31, 2024, for travel on any date through December 31, 2024. This sale is available network wide, with a few exceptions.

 For example, return Economy flights are reduced as follows

• New York to London Heathrow – 16,000 Virgin Points (reduced from 20,000 points) 
• Boston to London Heathrow – 16,000 Virgin Points (reduced from 20,000 points) 
• Los Angeles to London Heathrow – 24,000 Virgin Points (reduced from 30,000 points) 

 All Virgin Atlantic routes are included in the sale and the sale is applicable to Economy, Premium and Upper Class reward seat bookings or upgrades booked during the offer period.  

 A reward seat is when you use Virgin Points to cover the full airfare of your Virgin Atlantic flight or upgrade, so all you need to pay for are the taxes, fees and carrier-imposed surcharges, which vary according to destination, season and cabin. 

 To book, head over to the Virgin Atlantic website, where you can choose your destination and travel dates. Select ‘Show Price in Points’ under the ‘Advanced search’ followed by your desired cabin – either Economy, Premium or Upper Class.  Virgin Points can be used on exciting across Flying Club and Virgin Red, so the points you save during this sale can be put towards several other experiences.

Virgin Red and Flying Club are transfer partners for many several popular rewards programs such as Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou Rewards and Bilt Rewards. Virgin Red is a transfer partner in the Capital One program.

Promotion Terms

1. Offer valid for new reward flights and upgrades booked using Virgin Points between 00:01 GMT 19 January 2024 and 23:59 GMT 31 January 2024 
2. A 20% reduction will be applied at the time of booking to the standard Virgin Points price of all flights departing between 19 January 2024 – 31 December 2024. 
3. This offer is for Virgin Atlantic reward flights, upgrades, and companion bookings (including those earned on Virgin Atlantic Credit Cards) for one-way or return flights in Economy, Premium and Upper Class. Bookings in Economy will be for travel in the Economy Classic category.   
4. To be eligible for this offer, members must book a new reward flight or upgrade through virginatlantic.com or Virgin Atlantic Customer Centre. 
5. Full taxes, fees and carrier-imposed surcharges apply and vary according to the choice of cabin, departure airport, destination, and date(s) of travel. The exact amount will be advised at the time of booking. The discount only applies to Virgin Points, not any cash element (taxes, fees, and carrier-imposed surcharges) of the flight price. 
6. Valid on Virgin Atlantic marketed and operated routes only (flight number starts with VS) excluding routes departing or arriving at TLV, LOS, GRU. AUS and DEL. Partner airline and codeshare flights are not eligible.
