US Bank is offering a bonus of $300 or $800 for new business checking accounts. You can open the account online, but you need to be in US Bank’s footprint to do so. If you’re in a state with no US Bank branches you could still apply if you have an existing relationship with the bank. This $500 bonus for the US Bank Business Triple Cash card could be a good way to start a relationship. Let’s take a look at the details of this latest offer.

How to Earn This Bonus

In order to earn the bonus, you need to complete the following requirements:

• Open a new U.S. Bank Silver, Gold, Gold with Interest or Platinum Business Checking account with the promo code Q3AFL24.
• Deposit new money within 30 days of account opening and maintain your balance for 60 days after the account opening. Your bonus is determined by the total amount of your deposits:
  • Earn $300 when you deposit $5,000.
  • Earn $800 when you deposit $30,000.
• Enroll in US Bank Online Banking or the US Bank Mobile App within 60 days of account opening.

Offer Terms

• The bonus will be deposited into your new U.S. Bank Checking account within 45 days of settlement verification, as long as the account is open and has a positive balance.
• Bonus will be reported as interest earned on IRS Form 1099-INT and recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes. 

Eligibility

• Offer is available almost nationwide, but only in states that have US Bank branches. If you don’t have a branch in your state, you could still be eligible to open an account if you have an existing relationship.
• Offer is not valid if you or any signer on the new business checking account have an existing U.S. Bank Business Checking account or had a U.S. Bank Business Checking account in the last 24 months.

Account Fees

This is still a good bonus that many readers should be eligible for. But it was even better in the past, and that offer still shows even though it has an expiration of August 31, 2023.

With the new $800 bonus you now need to deposit $25,000 $30,000. For the $300 bonus you need to deposit $5,000.  You will need to keep the money in the account for at least 60 days, but it should still be a decent return even with the current interest rates.
