Thrifty Traveler Premium Adds Hotel Alerts
Thrifty Traveler Premium is a service that alerts members to the cheapest flight deals and awards alerts to use their credit card points and airline miles. Now, they they are adding another feature, hotel alerts.
Thrifty Traveler Premium’s annual subscription currently costs $99.99. Premium members can now pay an additional $24.99 a year to start getting alerts to book some of the best hotels in the world using hotel points.
At launch, the Hotel Alerts are only bookable with points from the big four hotel chains: Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and Marriott. Hotel Alerts subscribers can expect one to two alerts weekly at the start.
While these Hotel Alerts are just getting started, members who have signed up have already received some sweet deals such as:
Hard-to-find award availability at the dreamy Conrad Bora Bora Nui, bookable with Hilton points for a trip this summer or fall – peak season in French Polynesia.
Award nights through spring 2025 at the recently reflagged Luxury Hotel Collection Midtown Manhattan right when award space opened … bookable for just 34,000 Marriott Bonvoy points – a third of what it’s now charging!
Stays at the excellent all-inclusive Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun, bookable this fall and next spring for as low as just 25,000 World of Hyatt points a night.
Every deal contains in-depth booking instructions, pointers for transferring credit card points, local recommendations, and next-level tips — like when to redeem free night certificates or how to cover the roundtrip boat transfer fees at the Conrad Bora Bora using credits on the Hilton Aspire Card.
As mentioned above, hotel alerts cost just $24.99 a year. Just like Premium flight deal alerts, members who sign up now will lock in that price for life: Even if prices eventually increase, yours won’t!
Hotel Alerts are only available to Premium Flight Alert subscribers – they’re not currently sold separately. First-time Premium subscribers can add Hotel Alerts to their plan after signing up for Flight Alerts. Current Premium members can opt-in by logging into their online account and selecting “Hotel Deals” in the main menu.
