Priority Pass Limits Guests Access for Capital One Venture X Cardholders
Capital One Venture X Business and especially Venture X cardholders have generous lounge access benefits. The Venture X card lets you add free authorized users who get complimentary Priority Pass for example. Also both cards give you a valuable Priority Pass membership that comes with unlimited complimentary guests.
“After enrolling in Priority Pass, Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders get unlimited complimentary access plus unlimited complimentary access for your guests traveling with you. Access policy varies at select locations and may be more limited.” You can find that language here.
However, on a different page that seems to have been updated earlier this month, it says that “Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders can bring two guests to Priority Pass lounges.” It’s not clear if this is already in effect, or if it’s an upcoming change.
I have reached out to Capital One about this new language, and will update the article when/if they provide any relevant information.
If this is the new policy going forward, it would bring it in line with most other credit cards and many lounges that would still have a limit of 2 guests. Most cardholders will not be affected by this, but those who large families will, especially those with children that do not qualify for free access. Venture X cardholders still have the option to add eligible family members as free authorized users.
If you ae looking for unlimited guests at Priority Pass lounges, then the Ritz-Carlton Credit Card is your only option.
