Park Hyatt Tokyo Closed For Renovation
Park Hyatt Tokyo, a popular property for World of Hyatt loyalists, has closed its doors today. The hotel will stay closed for about a year and a half to undergo property-wide renovations to upgrade its guestrooms and facilities. The hotel will suspend operations from May 7, 2024 and is slated to reopen in October 2025.

The renovations coincide with the hotel’s 30th anniversary, ushering in a new chapter for the hotel which was in need of upgrades. The hotel first opened its doors on 1994, and became famous for being featured in the movie “Lost in Translation”.
Design agency Jouin Manku has been chosen to lead the transformation respecting the beloved design philosophy of the hotel’s notable original interior designer, John Morford.
