Marriott Bonvoy and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer have launched reciprocal status matches. The most important part of this promotion is matching from Marriott Bonvoy to KrisFlyer.
If you have Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite Status status or above, then you can instantly match to KrisFlyer Elite Silver Status with the option to upgrade to Gold after completing four Singapore flights. Check out the details below.
The Offer
Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite members and above are invited to enjoy benefits that take your travel experiences further through our preferred partnership with KrisFlyer, the rewards program of the Singapore Airlines Group.
To register for complimentary KrisFlyer Elite Silver Status in the KrisFlyer Program, a Marriott Bonvoy Member must hold an active, validated Marriott Bonvoy account with Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, or Ambassador Elite membership status.
Those Marriott members will receive instant KrisFlyer Elite Silver Status, valid for 12 months. They will also have the opportunity to earn KrisFlyer Elite Gold Status with four paid flights on Singapore Airlines within six months.
In the other direction, Solitaire PPS Club, PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold Members will receive complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite membership status. They will also be eligible to be further upgraded to Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite membership status by staying ten Qualifying Nights at Participating Properties within six months.

Status matches are a good way to get benefits in a loyalty program, without having to go through normal qualifying requirements With this status match, Marriott Bonvoy and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer elites have the option to match to the other program.
While you can instantly get KrisFlyer Elite Silver Status, that doesn’t give you much in terms of benefits. You can get actual value if you qualify for KrisFlyer Elite Gold Status which then gets you Star Alliance Gold. You can then enjoy more benefits across Star Alliance carriers.
