Amex Cards Now Get Free Access to Point.me
Update (Jan 25, 2025) – Many Amex cardholders still get free access to point.me. This is one of the many useful tools for travel hackers.
Seems to work for Membership Rewards cards and co-branded cards. Just keep in mind that with point.me for Membership Rewards® points, eligible Card Members have access to a real time reward-flight search engine. POINT.ME makes it easy to see all of the options, and choose the flight that works best for you before transferring Membership Rewards® points to eligible airline loyalty programs through your Membership Rewards® account. So you will not see all options. Log in here. (HT: VFTW)
Original article (Dec 07, 2021) – American Express now offers select cardmembers complimentary access to Point.me, an award search tool. Eligible members are those who have a Membership Rewards earning credit card.
Point.me lets you discover and compare reward flights, so you can get the best value for points. American Express has partnered with point.me to create the Membership Rewards® Points Search, exclusively for select Card Members through 3/15/2022. You should be aware that these searches will not always give you the best redemption options. So it’s best to also do your own research if you’re not familiar with some of the transfer partner programs before transferring your Membership Rewards points.
To get the free trial you need to input the first six digits of your card number to verify eligibility. The offer is available to select U.S issued Consumer and Small Business American Express Cards for a limited time only, from 9/15/21 – 3/15/22. You will not be charged at any time during the complimentary offer period or thereafter, so you can check out Point.me at no cost at all.
With the point.me (formerly Juicy Miles) and American Express Membership Rewards Points Search, eligible Card Members have access to a real time reward-flight search engine to find the best value when transferring Membership Rewards points to eligible airline loyalty programs. Once a flight has been selected, point.me provides step-by-step guidance for both transferring points and how to book your reward-flight on the applicable airline’s website. It’s easier than doing this on your own, but as I mentioned above, you also could be missing out on the best options. Plus the site is slow in some cases, especially if there are too many results and it’s also a limited version of Point.me.
You can see the offer here, and proceed to sign up for a free Point.me trial. You can also check out pricing for full access here.
