There will be a big celebration this Saturday, September 9 at Gateway Farmers Market and you don’t want to miss it.
The Market will be open from 7 AM to noon, but if you’ve been there getting great fresh fruit and vegetables you have probably stopped by and talked with the Miller County Red Dirt Master Gardeners set up on the side of the Market with no shade.
Ribbon Cutting for Red Dirt Master Gardeners’ New Gazebo
Well, that will be a thing of the past because this weekend there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a brand new beautiful gazebo that is specifically for the Red Dirt Master Gardeners. The ceremony will take place at 10 AM with Texarkana, Arkansas Mayor Allen Brown reading a proclamation.

Gateway Farmers Market is still open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7 AM to 12 PM offering fresh local vegetables and fruit, Asian vegetables, homemade baked goods, handmade crafts, USDA Meat, home canned goods (salsa, pickles, relish, jellies), local honey, Fresh Cut Flowers, Jelly, homemade soap, freeze-dried candies and more.
