Delta Expands Sky Club At LaGuardia Airport
Delta Air Lines’ Sky Club at LaGuardia Airport was the largest in its network when it opened a couple of years ago, and now is even bigger after a brand-new expansion.
The airline unveiled the expanded lounge last week, adding 4,500 square feet to the space which now features a four-seasons Sky Deck. The lounge now features more than 700 seats spread out across 35,000 square feet.
To access the lounge, you need to go left past security, with the entrance situated around 100 feet from there. An escalator or elevator ride is needed to go to the lounge, which has an interior that evokes New York City at the turn of the 20th century.
The main new feature is the all-seasons sky deck overlooking the runway, with the ability to keep it temperature controlled in winter and open up the roof for a nice breeze in the summer, as reported by Travel + Leisure. There are comfortable lounge chairs and a high bar for working, all with views of the runway. The expansion also includes a new premium bar and more than 100 additional seats.
The lounge also offers wireless charging pads, several phone booths for quiet time, and an an expansive buffet with food curated by popular local chefs.
It’s worth noting that Delta will start limiting access to its popular lounges starting Feb. 1, 2025.
