Chase United Explorer Card 80K Bonus
Chase is launching several new offers on March 23rd. We already wrote about the new 100K bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, and the 125K bonus on the refreshed United Business Card. Now Doctor of Credit has also revealed a new upcoming offer for the Chase United Explorer Card. Besides an increased bonus of 80,000 miles, the card will also have an increased annual fee of $150 (up from $95). And hopefully some added benefits, like we saw on the United Business Card. Let’s see the details of the new Chase United Explorer Card 80K offer.
Offer Details
- Earn 80,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.
- Plus, earn 5,000 bonus miles after you add an authorized user to your account in the first 3 months your account is open.
- $0 intro annual fee for the first year, then $150
- Link for Reference (currently showing 50K SUB)
There’s no direct link for the offer right now, as it will go live on March 23rd. The information was shared in an internal memo, but it’s not clear if the offer will be available in-branch only, or online as well. I would guess the latter.
Bonus Eligibility
This card product is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.
Guru’s Wrap-up
The best offer we have ever seen on the Chase United Explorer card was for 70,000 miles. The new offer that will launch on March 23rd will give you 80,000 miles and the annual fee is waived for the first year.
But the fee will increase from $95 to $150, and I would think that there should also be some added credit to make up for that $55 fee increase. We have no details on that yet.
