Capital One Spark Cash Card Available Again for Applications
Capital One has brough back the Capital One Spark Cash Card, a product which has not been available for applications since 2021.
This card is different from the other two, similarly named business products, Spark Cash Plus and Spark Cash Select. Those are charge cards. That means that all charges made on these cards are due and payable in full when you receive your periodic statement.
The Capital One Spark Cash Card is still a business credit card, and not a charge card. It earn 2% cash back on all purchases, 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, and has an annual fee of $95 which is waived the first year. It’s also offering a $750 cash bonus when you apply for the card and spend $7,500 in the first 3 months. You can see the offer here.
However, this card also had (and maybe still has) an additional a benefit. In 2020 it was revealed that this card would not appear on your personal credit report. Other Capital One Spark cards do. It will still pull all three personal credit bureaus when applying, but it will not report after that.
It’s not clear if that’s still the case, but I have reached out to Capital One to hopefully get an answer.
