Bilt Rewards Drops Hawaiian Airlines
Bilt Rewards has lost another transfer partner. As of today, you can no longer transfer Bilt Points to Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles. The unannounced change was first flagged by JT Genter.
Richard Kerr, VP of travel at Bilt Rewards, said in a reply that this was due to the 3-year contract ending and the pending DOJ decision. “As our original 3-year agreement came to a close with HA, we were confident as reported this morning that the merger with AS would be approved”, he said. “Given we are the only transfer partner Alaska has at a 1:1 ratio, the ability to book Hawaiian with Bilt points should return shortly.”
He also added that “the legal and manpower overhead required to create a new agreement with HA didn’t make sense for either of us when we were confident the partnership would return shortly”.
Bilt Rewards Transfer Partners
Point transfers are initiated using the Bilt App. All transfers are at a ratio of 1:1 and will be nearly instant. There is a minimum point transfer of 2,000 Bilt Points for members who are Blue Status and a minimum point transfer of 1,000 Bilt Points for members who are Silver, Gold, or Platinum Bilt Status. All transfers must be done in 1,000 point increments.
