What’s the Catch?
The chosen family’s “job” is to create a fun and engaging blog or vlog, capturing every exciting moment, challenge, and joy of their epic road trip. “Family, however you define it, has never been more important,” says Outdoorsy CMO Jennifer Young. “We fell in love with the idea of gifting a quintessentially American experience – the summer road trip – to help bring folks closer to what matters most.”
How to Apply
If you’re an American individual or couple aged 18 to 80+, submit a 60-90 second video explaining why your family deserves this incredible adventure. Apply at Outdoorsy.com/bestsummerjob starting March 12, 2024. Rally your friends, family, and community to vote for your entry, and the top 6 finalists will be announced on April 15, 2024.
Finalists will continue to vie for votes, appearing in local media to gain hometown support. The candidate with the most compelling story, creativity, technical ability, and that special ‘X’ factor will be crowned the winner on May 15, 2024.
