American Express Updates MyCredit Guide and CreditSecure
American Express announced that it will introduce updates to MyCredit Guide and CreditSecure in the coming weeks to help consumers track and protect their credit and identity.
American Express’ popular free credit reporting tool, MyCredit Guide, will provide FICO Score and Experian Credit Report. Powered by Experian data, the new FICO® Score Planner (formerly Score Goals) and FICO® Score Simulator features will help people work towards improving their credit scores and understand how certain actions may impact their financial health. It will also feature a sleek new design that visualizes their goals and progress. MyCredit Guide is available for most people, even those who are not American Express Card Members.
Beginning October 30, CreditSecure, a credit and identity monitoring and fraud protection service for American Express Card Members, will introduce several new features that are designed to help protect their personal information online including: Online Privacy Manager, Social Media Monitoring, Identity Theft Insurance, Financial Account Takeover, Dormant Account Alerts. This service comes with a monthly fee.
