Chase has launched new limited time bonuses for transferring points three airline partners. Eligible Chase cardholders can transfer Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways Executive Club Avios, Iberia Plus Avios or Aer Lingus AerClub Avios with a 20% transfer bonus. The promotion runs through March 31, 2025. While it’s far from the best offer have seen, this is still a bonus that makes award flights more affordable. Let’s see the details below.
Offer Details
Normally Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus Avios and Aer Lingus AerClub at a 1:1 ratio. Now you can get 20% Bonus Avios when you transfer points between 12:00 AM ET on March 1, 2025 and 11:59 PM ET on March 31, 2025. Bonus Avios will be awarded by the airline program account when your transfer is complete.
With the additional 20% bonus, you will receive 1,200 Avios for every 1,000 Membership Rewards points that you transfer.
- Minimum Transfer 1,000 points
- Maximum Transfer 999,000 points
- Transfer Increments 1,000 points
- Bonus Avios will be awarded up to 7 days after the point transfer is completed.
About Avios Program
Avios is the rewards currency used by British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Qatar Airways and Finnair. Each of the first three airlines offers their own U.S. credit card that earns up to 3X Avios. Guru’s Wrap-up
This is not the best offer we have seen for transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to Avios. Previous offers have been as high as 40% and 50%, and more recently 30%. But this is still a decent opportunity to extract more value from your points.
Keep in mind that you can move points between several airlines that use Avios as their frequent flyer currency. So you can also use this promotion for flights through the Qatar Airways and Finnair programs also.
