Amex Business Platinum Card Adds Annual $200 Hilton Credit
The Amex Business Platinum card has a new benefit that can get you an extra $200 in value every calendar year. Cardholders get up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year (up to $50 per quarter) for purchases made directly with a Hilton property.
Here’s the wording of this new benefit:
“NEW! Get up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year (up to $50 per quarter) when you enroll in the $200 Hilton Statement Credit Benefit with your Business Platinum Card through American Express. Purchases must be made directly with a property in the Hilton portfolio on your Business Platinum Card. Hilton for Business membership is required. If your business does not already have a Hilton for Business account, you will be registered for one at the time you enroll in the benefit. Hilton for Business offers additional travel value such as access to discounted rates, travel management tools, and loyalty benefits. To learn more about Hilton for Business, visit HiltonForBusiness.com.”
As you can see, it requires a Hilton for Business account. But once you enroll and enter your Hilton Honors number, then a Hilton for Business account is created automatically.
If this new credit works like the $60 quarterly credit on the Hilton Business card, then it should be easy to use by purchasing Hilton gift cards. Since it based on calendar year, you should also be able to triple dip for an extra $100 in credits if you apply for an Amex Business Platinum card now.
