Instacart+ Removes Some Benefits
Instacart sent out email today announcing several changes to the Instacart+ membership. This is a service that costs $99/year or $9.99/month, but some of you might still have it for free through Chase credit cards. You can still get two free months with any eligible World or World Elite Mastercard.
Here are the benefits that are going away:
- 5% credit back on pickup orders (effective immediately). It might still work today for some users though, so check your accounts.
- Reduced service fees (effective 3/1/25). Instacart+ now saves you $7.99/order on grocery and retail delivery orders.
New limited time offer:
- For a limited time, Instacart+ members will receive $0 delivery fees on grocery & retail orders of $10+ (normally $35+).
Instacart points out that they have added a number of benefits to Instacart+ over the past year:
- $0 delivery fees* on eligible orders from your favorite local restaurants, powered by Uber Eats
- Extended sharing of your $0 delivery fee* benefit with family (up to 3 people)
- Peacock streaming ($79.99 value)
- New York Times Cooking 1-year subscription for annual Instacart+ members ($50 value)
