JetBlue Plus Card 80,000 Points Signup Bonus
Barclays has launched an increased signup bonus for the JetBlue Plus Card. You can now earn 80,000 bonus points, which is a big bump from the usual offer of 50,000 points. Plus the spending requirement remains the same at just $1,000 and there’s an intro 0% APR as well. Check out the details below.

What to Know About Applying for Barclays Cards
Here are a few things worth noting regarding Barclays credit card applications:
- There’s no real limit on the maximum number of credit cards you can have with Barclays.
- Normally, Barclays will only approve you for one card every 6 months.
- You can however apply for multiple Barclays cards on the same day, and those inquiries will be combined into a single hard pull. Normally only one application will auto-approved.
- They also have a 6/24 rule. That means that they might not approve you if you’ve had more than 6 new cards in the last 24 months. I say might because we’re not sure if it still applies, and even before it was never really a hard rule.
- If you have a Barclay card, is best to put some spend on it before applying for another card. They don’t like dormant cardholders. There’s no real limit on the number of cards you can have with Barclay.
Guru’s Wrap-up
This is a pretty good offer for the JetBlue Plus Card, which we also saw back in August. However, we have seen bonuses as high as 100,000 points in the past. If you find yourself flying with JetBlue at all, then I would go for it.
The card gets you free checked bags and 10% of your points back when you redeem for a flight.
You can’t apply for this offer online as far as I know, but just open the app and complete the application there. You need to spend $1,000 and pay the annual fee of $99 within the first 90 days in order to earn 80,000 TrueBlue points.
