Guru’s Wrap-up
The value of this promotion will depend on how much you value Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Marriott Bonvoy points. I have a subjective valuation of some of the major point currencies here, and I have a value of 1.7¢ for Chase Ultimate Rewards and 0.6¢ for Marriott Bonvoy points. While the valuation could be different for everyone, the math will still be against doing such transfers even with a 50% bonus. However, this could work on some specific instances where you can get outsized value for your Marriott Bonvoy points, or if you just need more points towards a redemption.
