Amex Hilton Cards Offers with No Lifetime Language

Hilton and American Express just revamped the Hilton Honors credit cards and launched new welcome bonuses. But besides those public offers, which are also available through referrals, there are also some different offers that have some unique advantages.

The links below now have the same bonuses as the public offers. There’s a 100,000 points offer for the no-fee Hilton card, and 170,000 points bonus for the Hilton Surpass card. But there’s no lifetime language in the terms, which means that you can get the bonus again even if you have had these cards in the past. The Hilton Business card also has a 130,000 points bonus. One hurdle that some people encounter with Amex welcome bonuses is the pop-up, which tells you that you are not eligible for the offer. American Express introduced this tool back in mid 2018. A pop-up will give you a reason why you are not eligible for a bonus. It then asks you if you want to proceed or not with the application. Just because you are not eligible for a bonus, does not mean that you will not be approved. But conventional wisdom is that you do not proceed with the application, unless you really really want that Amex card. Getting the card without a welcome bonus disqualifies you from getting the bonus again.

However, if you’re in pop-up jail, or if you have had these cards before, you can possibly still apply for these Hilton credit card offers and get the bonus. Plus, there’s no harm to try. If you do get the pop-up, you can withdraw the application.

It’s worth noting that if you are eligible for one of these bonuses, and not worried about the lifetime language or pop-up, then you can apply through referrals. By using a referral link from a friend or family member, they also get a referral bonus which can normally be 15,000 or 25,000 points, and possibly even more.
