Delta Flash Sale
Delta has been on a negative streak as of late, but they have launched an award sale that’s hard to turn down. This flash sale includes Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti and Japan as reported by Frequent Miler and Thrifty Traveler.
The cheapest fares available are from the West Coast, and specifically LAX. But there are other airports that also have affordable options. There’s currently plenty of availability between November 2023 and March 2024, which is a great time to visit those countries.
So how many miles do you need to fly to these popular travel destinations? The cheapest fares start at 50,000 miles roundtrip from Los Angeles (LAX) to Auckland (AKL). If you include a 15% discount for Delta SkyMiles cardholders, then you’re getting a round-trip flight to AKL for just 42,500 SkyMiles.
It’s worth noting that these deals are for travel in Economy class, which is not ideal for such long flights.
